Anyone here know anything about CAD? If so, do you know if its out dated? improved? Also, does it do 3-D?

Autocad still have the highest standing in CAD industry. So if your going go into CAD then check Autocad since they been around for a long time.

Lot of companies use it so it interchangable with other companies to share cad drawings or informations.

Thanks for the info, will check out the link. I was looking into animation to help me dad out with a project. He found a new animation program that will cost him some money to present his project.

For animation I know one of the popular software is called Maya and it also Autodesk product.

Maya 8.5 is the latest I think ..


Also there one other popular animation software but I forgot the name, maybe someone here can tell you.

TechBill, you sure have helped a lot :ty::ty: I will research these programs and find out what's good. Its for marketing purposes, I don't have to actuallly learn to train in CAD. It will be helpful to see how it works and learn from it all.
