OH MYG This morning >>> coyotes!!!!

I dont think it will disappearing slowly cuz I have heard it is growing cuz they are making more babies and it is growning but they are moving around NE mostly. Yea soon they will move up north of NE since it is not much up north of Maine and NH and Vermont.

I think that most coyotes last live 3 to 4 years because of the diseases (ticks, etc). Coyotes usually live 10 years.

coyotes are cute... and cute faces... I am too soft and weak for animals. I don't like to see them dead..

Me too, but if a coyote attack one of my children, then that's entire a different story.

It would be my very last resort for me to shoot a coyote if attack someone. Many wolves are very shy, and they hide in the woods. Wolves and coyotes are not quite the same. It's because wolves almost never attack people. Many people think that wolves and coyotes look the same. They report in the newspaper about an aggressive attacker because they don't know which one they are referring to.

I haven't thought about a law that would let us to shoot a coyote legally on our property because of near endangered animal in some states. (Endangered Animal Printouts - EnchantedLearning.com)

well here's another idea if you dont feel like shooting them, contact your local game warden and tell them you have a nuisance pack of coyotes around your property and you would like to have them moved.

What happens is they bait the coyotes in close range with meat then they shoot them with tranquilizer and put in a cage, tagged, and then moved of course the whole pack cannot be moved in one night, but after one night of this the rest of the pack will be scared off and wont return for a while, but if they get brave again and come that close, then just contact your game warden and have them come out again.

Eventually the pack figures out a routine and they learn to just simply stay away from your property.

or you can do it the straight up hill billy way - grand-daddys old shotgun loaded with a couple of deer slugs! (just kidding I would never do this myself)

Not if the animal is on the endangered species list you can't shoot them.

I'll care the animals who are on the endangered species unless they kill or harmful to one of my livestock animals or kids in the future.

When you are in this line of work, it should be expected that you may lose livestock to a wild animal. The livestock is going to get killed anyway regardless by wild animal or human.

Kids--I can understand that.

Phillips, learn how to howl....lol

... My neighbors will be calling to police and complain about my howls. Heheh... My next neighbor told me, I am very lucky to be deaf because they heard howls almost every night during summer! :giggle:
