Dog That Attacked Kids Must Die

To me, rottweilers is kind of dog that live in the forest along with wolf, because if you care him/her very well, be friendly to them, they'll bite you no matter what.
I work for 10-12 different customers (at house) everyday, the more chance I met Rottweilers, Pitbulls, and other stupid mean dogs. I always tell customer to take this dog away. Most customers know that I'm sensitive to those kind of dogs. I don't care if that dog can smell my fear, but safety is very important for me.

You may want to start carrying pepperspray that is made for dogs, as they can smell your fear. You don't have anything to be scared of, but, at the same time, when people cram their face into my hearing dog's face, I loudly say, "I am not responsible for dog bites!" The people have been informed that Snickers is a service/hearing dog, but that doesn't matter to anyone, they'll sue and won't care about squat!

Like I always say: "Never mind the dog, it's the owner to look out for!"

Rottweilers don't bite no matter what if they are trained and have a good home. They are guard dogs but very smart and can be trained to pay attention to people. We have Rhodesian Ridgebacks - a breed that is aggressive, brave (they hunt lions), strong, guard dogs, and usually don't like strangers. But we train them to behave and they never bite. But too many bad owners of aggressive dogs don't train them. Very sad for the dogs.

well the rotties that got loose and bite the children.. so apparently rotties can bite.

my bro used to have a rottweiler and it does bite. my bro got the dog from previous owner and the previous owner didnt raise the dog right so my bro tried to train the dog right and it learned to be better dog and well behaved.. he was a good guard dog.

Maybe before I was not clear. Rotties can bite. Any dog can bite. But someone wrote Rotties "bite no matter what" and I disagree. A trained Rottie shouldn't bite unless abused, scared, or guarding. But any breed can bite. When I was a kid I was bitten by a Golden Retriever. And a swan in a park. :giggle: People need to train their dogs. I'm glad your brother trained his Rottie. :)

Rottiwelier must send to vet and put this dog sleep which killed a innocent child..

That's horrible.. Owner must press the charged due no leashed their yard.

wait min, it say attack not killed the child. But I think if the dog attack that doe raise the red flag unless it draw blood to killed the child then put to sleep. I was attack by a German Shepard, But I am alive and greatful everyday for that. But I ask not to put the dog to sleep because the dog got lose and broke the rope. But it never to late to have the dog rehabilitating a dog with bad behavior.

yes, dog must die and serve as meat to China.
And the owner need be banned to not have pet since dog has not been train well.

that very immature comment please don't say crap like that. It bad turn off and it that not cool.:pissed:

I have to agree that any type of dogs breeds size big or small can bite and be a bitter unless the dog is train properly. But However, peolple also need to realized dogs like ROttie, shepard, austrian sheep dogs and other sporting and working dogs are not always great family pet, those dogs like to work and don't like to be bored, if that happens they can be come destrustive behaivor.

One thing to consider is that breeds like rotties, and dobermans (not pit bulls which are bred to fight other dogs) were bred to guard property and people and are territorial. The ones that attacked the children were not guarding anything. They left their own territory and went looking for something to attack. That is not acceptable behavior. Most dogs are somewhat territorial and can be trained and socialized not to attack. The owner is responsible for not keeping the dogs controlled.

But if a person want to keep those type of breed must be a good strong handler and pack leader to that dog. So I read this and watch his show was great his name Cesar Millan is a world-renowned dog behavior specialist, known for his uncanny ability to walk large packs of dogs at a time. Not only that but, from poodles to pit bulls, these now well-behaved canines have each been rehabilitated, rescued from a wide range of extreme behavior issues - anything from insecurity to severe 'red zone' aggression! His show is wonderful and he also help people too to understand what they must do and learn how to deal with the dog as well. You can check out his web site,, he is great and very very helpful I watch every friday evening. His web site is

the last statment say the child was killed, I thought the child was attack I guess I read it wrong, sorry if I misunderstood smile.

Speaking of great Dane I grew up with many of them. They not really attacker type but their huge size will scare some people off lol. It sure did scare the hell out of the pizza guy lol. But if you gonna plan to have a big dog, make sure you got enough space in the house and huge back yard. If your home is small or small yard you don't want to have a big dog to feel cramped in small space in the home or the yard. I prefer to use a big yard so my danes can have huge space to run around to exericse. Now I have small dog it good for smaller homes and med size yard. I think any size or breed can attack,, but not their fault, it really the owner's fault not take care of the pet that should been well trained.

The swan looked nice but was scary! :Ohno: Then I didn't know swans bite people - now I do so be careful with swans, everyone! :giggle:

OT but............The first time I went to a friend's house I didn't know he had a dog. He opened the door and AAAAA! a fat, round big animal ran and jumped on me. It was so fast I couldn't see and thought it was a pig! It was a very fat white bulldog! :laugh2:

Also - our Great Dane owns the couch. He lives on the couch all day. My dad says we need another couch for us! :P

You should check out Welcome to Cesar Millan's Official Web Site and he great! You will learn lot from him and he can help you understand dogs better. Dogs are not humans. Before they receive love and affection, they need exercise, clear direction, and leadership. Giving them love alone doesn’t create balance in their lives. Be a pack leader! Rehabilitating a dog is not about “fixing” it. It’s about you, the owner, creating the intention for what you want, not what you’re feeling. Dogs pick up on feelings of fear, doubt, or worry – and they will move to fill them by attempting to become dominant. His program works for me and my dogs doing great. I wish I have known about him 10 years ago.
