Found someone who ran an experiment extracting tar from 400 cigarettes (2 boxes).
This is very interesting video, and it has subtitles in it.
 
WOW! Thank God I quited almost 8 years ago!!! I would NOT go back, PERIOD.
 
I been trying to give up smoking.I`am not doing a very good job at it.

Does this video makes you to feel like to quit? I just showed to my roommate today, and he said he is quitting now. Let's see if this works! ;)
 
Eww that's really nasty! I am glad I don't smoke anymore ever since 2004. I quit. Thank God that I have my own will power to break that habit.
 
its hard trying to give up the cigs. In a long run u would realize how much money u would save...300 buks a mth for me...holy shit eh?

LOL you got that right, my dad finally gave up smoking for almost 10 years now and he realized he save more money now then spending it on bunch of cigs. But it worth it for him to quit finally glad and now I am trying to get my mom to quit smoking ahhh. My grandmother haven't smoke for almost 12 years that great! I hope I can encourage more of my family members to quit. :)

Yes it does, I no longer want to put that junk in my body.I`am going to quit.

my wife, won't kiss me if i reek cigs..ive been getting kisses cos i havent reeked of cigs for the last 2 years! lol

Me either. I have been trying to quit now since July. Did okay for one month! Then back to it! :pissed:

I've never smoked before so it feels good not to smoke at all. There's so many ways to relief stress other than smoking. My parents quit smoking about the same time in 1991 and haven't smoked since. They did it once in a long occassions before but I don't think they do that anymore. They sure have willpower to stop smoking without a struggle, interesting.

My grandma smoked for many years and she ended up with lung cancer and she passed away in March 20, 1997. I miss her really much because she was a really great grandma I've had. We did a lot of things together. :)
 
I will show this to my hubby. I want him to quit smoking so badly. Not to be negative or anything but his family is so close-minded when it comes to smoking. I am very upset with them cuz my 2 year old was recently diagnosed with asthma last week and we are supposed to go to his parents' for Thanksgiving tmw. All of the relatives smoke and they all smoke inside the house so I told my hubby to tell his dad to tell everyone not to smoke in the house cuz of my son. They said "Yea right! In your dreams." I am threatening not to go and just stay home with my son tmw. I was informed of this last night and I am feeling really down about it cuz I am wondering why do they value smoking so much? Makes me want to move back to AZ cuz my family wouldnt do that to us.
 
You're right. They don't care about your kid. I don't think they respect your wishes not to smoke in the house because of what happened to your kid. That sounds pretty cruel. I would suggest you to find someone to take care of your kid or refuse not to go to thanksgiving dinner because of their disrespect or find something else to give them a "wake up" call.
