Hiya, I'm Deaf British in Hollywood, LA!

I'm staying at my hearing girlfriend's apartment in Los Feliz till 13th August but might come back again in October/November. She always working at hospital. I haven't meet any deafie yet in LA so I came here to search one. I sign BSL (British Sign Language) and a very little bit of ASL! Still can communicate through ISL (International Sign Language) anyway. I would like to learn ASL as much as I can. I'm 30, no job yet, got I.T degree, live in London, England.

So any deaf party or pubbing or events in LA?

Hello welcome to America!

Friday , July 13, 2007 at 7pm there will be a deaf social in Orange County mall The Block. There will be lots of deaf people there join the fun.

You can google Orange county , The block for directions :)

Cool. Will check it out. LA doesn't have a proper train like New York or London. One of the reason could be the earthquake. I realised that you need a car to get around in LA! Thanks
