Regarding HDMI Cables

Well, all I can say is... don't buy any cables at any stores like Best Buy, Fry's or Circuit City. Not even Wal-Mart. They are all overpriced.

The key to getting a good HDMI cable is if it feature the HDMI logo on the cable regardless of what the price is. Even the cheapest HDMI-branded cable will be sufficient, believe it or not. The difference between HDMI and the rest of the cables is that HDMI is a digital cable.

It either work or don't.

A good place to start at would be Monoprice.com

Don't believe ANYTHING they tell you at the stores. It's their job to sell whatever they can... and that means selling you the most expensive cable they have in stock.

One would have to be really foolish to pay $150 for a 2 ft HDMI cable. It's 'Snake Oil' all over again.

I got 6 ft. HDMI at Wal-fart for $35...

Thanks to wal-fart...
