I went in the stores and websites for looking the ATSC-Tuners, but them has none having an ATSC-Tuner under 25 inches
of television by March 1, 2007
requirement by federal law. It's should be ILLEGAL to sell/sold them
without a digital-tuner under 25 inches of television!
i want to buy an ATSC-tuner for digital captioning, because two years
away, it's may not be closed-captioning for analog anymore in cable?
I seen on channel 240 to 249 for digital channels those has digital format that have no analog captions I've been seen on the cable Comcast.
I hope they would be filing a complaint, if they don't. I will file a complaint
against television manufactures because lack of ATSC-tuner that sold
after March 1, 2007.

So now, about THREE WEEKS are still
lacking of ATSC-Tuners! I've waiting for this until next month. But I will
thought about before I buy a television has an ATSC tuner, in addition
this currently new tuner will be working with component cables such as: Nintendo Wii, and XBOX 360.

Are you planning for ATSC-tuner for digital captioning for cable/satellite?

Not surprised, I don't know about what happen...

Only that you need look at maf date on TV, if before March 2007 are exempt from ATSC built-in for under 25" TV but... sure that alot of TV are made on before March 2007 then just take some time for them to sold out or phase out before next under 25" TV with ATSC built-in are release at most stores. TV with ATSC built-in are cost more but I rather to get HDTV because SDTV sucks!!!

Here's the meaning of HD-ready or HD built in.....

HD-ready means it does not have a ASTC tuner built in, need a external tuner like satellite or cable set up box.

HD built in means it has ASTC tuner built in. Look at the page you gave us, it says HD ready.

Oh, I got it... my bad... :eek3:

Thanks for point out on my post.

Yeah, no problem. Look at the 2 links I posted and it says HD-built in so that means it's probably a newer set made for March 1, 2007 law for HD built in tuner in TVs 25" or smaller.

I don't have much money for flat-screen, so I need a SDTV.
SDTV is cheap for me, it is perfectly fit for me.

I know that Insignia are already made ATSC-tuner in under 25". But I
won't recommend Insignia, because I saw on these reviews, that said
TV is worst brand product ever.
see yourself for the reviews of Insignia for these television tubes of
Insignia, go to cnet.com
