Why are people on this forum so rude?

Yeah I know Jasin consider you and Jillos as rude people but to me, no! I see nothing wrong that you and Jillos made debate post in polite way... It's problem is that Jasin don't understand how to agree to disagree in polite way... All what I see her rude response post toward your post in first place.

Right..and I responded to that by explaining myself and telling Jasin nicely pls not to call me an ass.

Now, I see this thread and my name being used. Geez!

If iam rude to someone, I prefer that person tell directly in a nice way that iam being rude instead of calling me names. Then, I will apologize or explain what I mean but I wouldn't call people names. Then, I see this thread...I guess Jasin has a problem with me..oh well. I can't make everyone happy all the time and same for other ADers. Nobody is perfect but to create a thread about about me or being rude is kinda going too far unless Jasin was asking everyone for their opinions?

After I read all posts in that link, Jasin felt that it was Jillio who was very rude to Jasin about " SE " instead of spellin' out " SEE "... or somethin' like that. I do not think Jasin was referrin' anythin' to Shel90 to start with.

No matter what...

Is it necassary to create a thread to ask us why the people on this forum so rude when the creator did the same thing as well?

Jasin should positive Jillio or Shed90 post if she disagree something instead of made an insult post.

I hope Jasin will agree on this and ask Admin. and Mod. to close her thread.

Freedom speech like everyone want speak it out straighten forward or chatter enjoy fun can be rude or fun or sad or much more any general!

Yeah, I just got back to AD after being busy all weekend. I already posted explaining that I was sorry if she was insulted, but she had contradicted a post I had made previously and replied as if I had to experience or knowledge regarding the matter. My original post was in reply to a question re: literacy in deaf kids, and how it could best be facilitated. I explained one of the methods I had used with my own son, and then was contradicted by her post saying that most ASL teachers would disagree with it. The discussion wasn't about learning ASL, it was about literacy. And shel also corrected her, telling her that I was fluent in ASL.

Then I simply posted my qualifications to comment in the way I did about the SEE/ASL debate, and informed her that it was SEE, not SE. If she got insulted over that, I'm sorry. Didn't intend to insult her. If she wants to think I'm an ass----oh, well.

Several points were made clearly as to the real intent other than what this thread is suggesting, bear in mind that views/opinions will vary and differ from how some or others will view it, that's when and where each of us can agree to disagree as well as to either respect such views or simply refrain from making such comments (indirectly or directly) that would be more suitable elsewhere than in AD...this thread is the type that can/will bring in unnecessary drama, therefore, thread's closed.
