My 15 half years old daughter Tara went out for a disco with her friends, telling me her mother will pick her up from here to the disco. I said "No problem". Will you come home tonight or sleepover at her house?
She told me she will sleep over at her house.
Before I retired to bed, my other daughter Alina told me she is coming home any time, please leave the front door light on for her, I said "No, she is staying at Mel's" I doubt her, so I rang her mobile cell phone and left a message, she replied fast saying "She got the House key and tell me not to wait for her".
Then the next day, (today) I went downstair and wasn't happy to see the night light on all night, thinking she forgot to take it off before she comes home as it had happen before.
I open the kitchen window and couldn't believe in my eyes seeing her sleep outside on the trampoline, I knock the window saying "What's going on"?
Seems she had a light sleep outside saying its freeze cold, raining little shower for a short time. Once she came inside saying she tried to knock the door all night, ring my cell mobile phone, and ring land phone and other daughter's cell mobile phone, she can't hear the calls or door/window knocks!!!
She found a blanket outside on the front verandah, and check there's no spiders in, and using it to keep her warm!!
I told her "You said you have the house key with you?" She said "Alina gave me the keys, on second thought, she took it out to take her USB and work key off the keyring, but she didn't put the house key back on my bag for the second time".
Tara said she didn't ring my husband as he is away since last Thursday to Adelaide, South Australia, for five days holiday, watching Grand Prix. I am sooooooo grateful that she didn't spoilt his holiday otherwise he will kill me for not looking after my girls properly.
We all find it so hilarious, lucky she took it very well on her side.
I never have a flashing light door bell all my life, as I rely on family and dog!!!

how will she be able to see the light flashing if someone rang the door bell? ..I used to have where you put a lamp in the living room and everytime someone ring the door bell, the living room lamp will flash on and off, but when we brought this house, we got those knocker that flash, it wasn't no help since once we had a screen door built in, then when someone knocked on the door, it wouldn't flash cause it hook up on the door instead of on the screen door. speaking of frustrated moments
