A Chinese zoo is running a Big Brother style competition with a difference - the contestants have to live in a monkey enclosure.

Six people will live with the monkeys in the zoo in the northwestern province of Shaanxi "to experience the lack of freedom the animals have", the China Daily said.

The last person remaining will win 11,888 yuan ($A1,974) and title of honorary animal lover, the newspaper said.

"It is the first such activity in China, and any Chinese from 18 to 60 years old, in good psychological condition with wild animal protection and survival knowledge may participate," the report added, without elaborating.

Oh that'd be nice for DeafMonkey to do it, ha but then, if a sip of vodka doesn't work for her - Perhaps a tranqulizer will do for her, eh? Sure, it'd knock her out for hours on the plane with no problem at all. :D

LOL good one Jolie_77. A nice big tranquilzer that will last for 24 hours where she will wake up in the monkey encloser with all the monkeys surround looking at her wondering what the heck sort of monkey she is. :giggle:
 
JO..that tranqulizer is perfect for DeafMonkey to use.. lol.... DM why not take that and ya can be on the way to join yuor monkey friends?? LOL kidding...
