A WOMAN faces jail for killing her boyfriend's cat by putting it in a washing machine.
Diane Hannon, 42, set deaf six-year-old Paws on a full cycle while cat-sitting after a row over his ex-wife.
Duncan Carthy returned to his flat the next day to find Paws dead from a heart attack and severe burns.
Hannon, of Old Colwyn, Denbighshire, had laughed when Mr Carthy called to ask how the cat was.
Llandudno magistrates adjourned for reports until January after she pleaded guilty to causing suffering.
