DVD Decoder for movie on the computer

Anyone know about this DVD Decoder ??

Iceriver and I have been trying to find it cause I cant get it to watch my movie on the computer. But no luck

I emailed to my old teacher that I am not happy with it what the guy did on my computer. He didnt tell me about it till I found out .

Any one know about this? thanks

Does your computer have DVD-ROM drive installed, if not you cannot do anything. Or you're missing DVD player software on your computer.

Yes I have DVD rom on my computer, but I am not sure about install it :)
 
You will need a dvd player software to play DVDs. Try downloading latest version of microsoft windows media player from microsoft site or download another player like powerdvd ,windvd etc.
 
you had better consult the manufacturer of your dvd rom drive if dvd player softwares seems to work fine.
 
I just talked to my friend iceriver about this which she already look up my computer. She know about computer then me lol :lol:
 
I guess you have software conflict with hardware, I assume.

yeah it is okay :). Iceriver think found that my dvd rom having plm so I will have to call my cousin's hubby to come and look at my computer to fix it :) .. so my friend iceriver and I are still look up in interent what is wrong with my dvd rom :)

IT WORKS!!!!

iceriver give me the link and try to download of powerDVD and it works!! but powerDVD have to pay for it so now gonna look for it to install it so I can watch the movies :) yayayaya
 
I removed powerDVD cause of trail which I cant afford so anyone know if there is any free dvd player software ?? let me know thanks :)

There are many different programs that will play DVDs, the problem as you have noticed is that there is a "decoder" missing. What that is is software that decodes the copy protection on a disk. The only way to get this pay for it.

The reson you have to pay for it deals with American laws. Some time ago some people figured out how to make their own decoder to watch DVDs, this software is available for free, but is illegal in the united states. If you'd like to learn more about that I strongly suggest you do a search for a program called VLC.

I am curious when I watch the movie and someone called me on the messengers of msn or yahoo or aim is that ok same time while I watch and someone call me to chat? I just curious cuase dont want damages or else :)

when I got powerDVD 2 yrs ago and my sister said you cant talk on msn same time must sign off and watch movie. so now I dunno about VLC can talk on msn same time to watch the movies.
