Which piece falls the fastest.. or hits the ground first...

The piece hanging from the crane
The piece on top of the building without a core or
The piece on top of the building with the core....

I have to apologize that the crane is in both pictures.... It might be confusing... The block from both cranes will off course fall equally fast... but will it be faster or slower than the other blocks ????
 
Obviously the piece without the core will land on the building and never hit the ground. Also science teaches us that regardless of mass, objects fall at the same rate of speed. Is this your homework? =p

Won't the building pancake because of the piece dropping on it???
 
That really depends on the structural integrity and alot of other factors, not all buildings are made equal ;). You never mentioned anythng of sort so I can't make a speculation on whether it will 'pancake' or not. Even if you did supply me with how many metres in height, the type of materials used to make the frame and whether it is tapered -- I don't think I can answer that. I'm not a building engieneer.

Just go from the buildings in the picture.... identical .. just with / without a core...
That's why I ask for a gut-feeling....
The only way to drop as fast as the blocks hanging from the cranes... is if there is no resistance....
The in-tact part of the building would cause resistence, therefore the blocks from the crane would be fastest.

The WTC towers fell at the speed that showed no resistence. They dropped without resistance....
A building pancaking would feel resistance with every (110) floors. It would take much longer... in the range of 100 seconds, not 10.
PLUS... it would leave 110 floors stacked on top of each other..... ????

Sorry I confused you...
The link you provided is very nice... showing what we both know..
All things fall with the same acceleration in vaccum. Air resistence will influence the maximum speed the objects are reaching..

But a building collapsing upon itself is NOT in freefall. It has all it's structure below it to slow it down. So, it is much slower in falling that freefall.

The question that I want to ask is...
How is it then possible that on 9/11 2001, 3 buildings collapsed upon itself in free-fall speed.??
 
Now that question I understand perfectly. :dunno: Sounds like pre-postioned explosives? I don't think there's any other way to achieve what you're proclaiming.

If we can come to this conclusion... why is it then not even investigated by the 911 commission ???

That question will never be answered when it is not asked!!

3000 people dead instantly, 1000's dying due to the asbestos in the cloud, 1000's of soldiers dying in a war based on 911.....

and you don't want to find out the truth....
 
People still ask questions about Ruby ridge, Waco, Roswell, 9/11. Just asking questions will not do it. You need a supreme court judge that isn't manipulated. You need a damn good lawyer and most importiantly you need SOLID HARD EVIDENCE then just MAYBE you'll have a chance. Otherwise it's just a pipe-dream. Believe me, alot of us would like certian questions answered but the feat is a task that no mere man can pull off. You are not Fox mulder. You are not bulletproof nor exempt from any laws that would literally grill you if you try to uncover classified data that would exposure the 'truth' I wish you luck in getting answers however. =/

Public knowledge will do a lot of good as well.
I didn't know about how deep it all went until 4 weeks ago. And looking at how people in this and other threads view the matter, they don't realise either..

Don't take all this personally. I'm just trying to wake people up....

I could just acknowledge that it happened and wait for it to be solved, but it cannot be solved by itself. It will just die out.
People need to know about it, and writing in this thread, I hope more people will realise that the 3000+ people that died are honoured by the government with lies.... not respect.
