Electric or gas scooter?

I rather to own scooter with gas because it support more miles to go.

gas station, good luck finding a plug when your battery die out and spend hours and hours waiting it to charge vs taking a min refueling.

Yup! most gas powered scooters uses 2 stroke engine which pollutes far worse than SUV. I know it is hard to believe, but because of the nature of 2 stroke engine. You have to mix the gas with oil, and when you burn it, the oil pollutes badly! PLUS they weren't as fuel efficent as 4 stroke engine too! All cars and suv uses 4 stroke engines. US government is trying to phase out the 2 stroke dirt bikes, all because of lousy pollution rating and that they aren't fuel efficent as well. PLUS you can't use caytalist converter on 2 stroke engine all because of oil is part of the combustion process.

I suspect that in the future it won't be gas nor electricity that powers whatever gets one around...

I sure hope the garbage powered vehicles will not be as polluting as the gasoline powered versions. Imagine the smell of garbage from the exhaust! :lol:

I don't care about pollution because we live in city that is #1 worst pollution.
 
Yea, and I have been in El-Lay, damn their air is so dirty... UNREAL smog in the morning. It didn't stop me from lurvin El-Lay!

Actually, I think the smog situation in So. CA is quite a bit better than it was 20 years ago. I no longer chip my teeth in the encironment here now! LOL!

Yes it is true.. I live in Southern California... no greenish yellow clouds around in LA,,, I went to Las Vegas one weekend.. To my surprise there were alert going offf and i saw huge greenish yellow cloud there.... I never see one here in my area...

Scooters are illegal in Wyoming but can be buy at stores. Any kind of scooters can't be on street or road. I do not think I want it?

I still stick with vehicles. USA is struggling to change the energy to Hydrogen, our future energy. Hydrogen is alot of resource found in water and gas clouds in space.
 
Yea, there is hydrogen fuel cell research center, just good 30 miles away from here! So far, its been so quiet. I am not sure what is the updated news. Hope they didn't declare it total failure.

I don't have health problem that got affected by smoggy.
