If you read Rebuilt the actual novel you would see what he was referring to an it is not superiority. Its on amazon.

Have read anything by Dr. Chorost. He addresses the vary issues we have be discussing in Rebuilt.

Dr. Chorost has bilateral CIs practical experience from someone who has them and does like having them. No concern of yours

If more children show small improvements how does it rationalize denying prelingual deaf children sign? Does it not make sense that in order to market their product they would parade the few solid successes in front of cameras and crowds? Is marketing not a type of propaganda?

ive read every article he has posted on his webpage, and his page, and the interview you posted.
in both the interview as well as on his webpage he uses the term "more human"
and its not by accident

but if i stated to you i believed myself to be more human then blacks...

I think your really hung up on that on statement. He said getting CIs made him more. He did mention you or any other person.

He was referring to his own personal humanity. Well if you take it as being less human then it does.

Where is this in either an interview or on his webpage? I tried to find it and could not do so.
 
Since you don't have a CI, how can you criticize what a CI does for him?

Lots of things make people feel "more human". Google "feel more human".
I'm guessing he said HE feels more human than HE did before he got the CI. Not that he feels more human than someone w/o an CI.

That is what I was thinking as well. But, so far, I have been unable to find what he actually said.

Yes I started watching and he was captioned talking about "bastardy". Somehow I doubt it.

If you post film on a deaf website you should use the courtesy of proper captioning

have you ever been more a human?
if so how is that "more" measured and against what as in a less then..

ive never been more then human so i'm curious for you to tell me about it

if i not just "feel' but actually state a given product choice, makes me more human. as an example cool snake skin cowboy boots, or my fave machinegun, or a cool red mustang or....a robot penis.....

and i tell you these products make me more human...

what am i really stating?
