Things to do in Chicago

I've been to Shedd _awesome -we had a "behind the scenes" tour - and to Brookfield Zoo. I went there with my university's Biology 101 class...also the Art Museum, been there many times.
I went to a arts specialty high school and every year there was an opportunity for students to go the Art Museum. I loved it.
There's lots of really cool places I've heard about on that list, but been to yet.
My dad loves to talk about them and especially likes the Museum of Science and Industry.

Have you been to all those places?

Is the Willis Tower and the Ledge of the Skydeck which is a clear enclosure you walk into and see for 50 miles around and some 1300 feet to the pavement on your list?

P.S. There are actually 4 of these enclosures up there.....:Ohno:

Shedd, yes, Art Museum, no, Museum of Science and Industry yes (awesome place, by the way). Brookfield and Lincoln Park Zoos, yes.

It's on my friend's to-do wish list. The day that happens is the day I'll likely faint. So far, it's not yet been mentioned. *Knocks on wood, hopes it never is*

....like I've told people my wife went up there recently while I stayed down below....my excuse was that someone had to mind my wife's purse! So maybe you could offer to baby-sit your friend's wallet...

Yeah, I could, except she has a daughter. Bit of a problem with that, because I'm not sure if a small child can handle the elevators there (which are capable of popping ears), so yeah.

Great! You stay down and supervise the child!

Kids go up there all the time. Just have the daughter chew gum or just keep swallowing. Same for adults.

Nice list Mark.
We have been to many of them over the years. Hopefully we get to see something new this time when we visit.

aww, I'm sad now. I've been to Chicago more times than I can count and I've only done a handful of these things. I do love the Water Tower though, it's been awhile since I've had a chance to go there. Every time I'm in town I'm usually just hanging out with my friends at a bar/house party or we're at the beach (if it's summer)

Thanks. I wanted to post something new for a change. I've been to a few of these on that list, but I'm thinking about heading back to the Lincoln Park Zoo in a few weeks' time, for something to do. That, and a couple of other things, too.

I live just minutes from Chicago and I don't do that much in city of Chicago.

I did go on Lakeshore bike path earlier this year and saw a lot of Divvy bikes. It's very different from last year when I didn't see any Divvy bikes.
