I disagree with you - Facebook is great place for me to socialize with old friends.
I want friends, I'll do it the old-fashioned way-- manual work. That's how I reconnected with a couple of them.

.Some of you were asking me what medicine I was taking to control my mood swings. The name is Tegertol, and works really well.
Do you have Bipolar disorder?

that's hilarious describing friendships as some kind of ditch-digging labor. Can you just see me making friends the new-fashioned way by having my servants do it all for me?that's hilarious describing friendships as some kind of ditch-digging labor. Did. Not anymore, but they're keeping the medicine, because of my potential of a violent temper. That temper has been dormant for many years, and we'd like it to stay that way.
Correct me if I'm wrong but that's like saying, "I was deaf, but not anymore because I wear hearing aids or CI."
Cause I like my privacy right where it's at now, thank you.
Not even close. We're erring on the side of caution, because without that medicine, I have the potential to seriously harm someone, and that medicine keeps that under control and manageable, and keeps me harmless.

Epic facepalm moment...
If you did not have mental disorders you wouldn't even need the medicine in the first place.
Harmless??Sometimes I wonder.....
I know. I've been taking it for almost 11 years.
Oh, my!
