How many of you had enough trouble to want to chuck it? Not just the $50 printer, but also the $325 laptop someone paid for? That's almost $400 worth of stuff to be getting agitated over, simply because I couldn't figure out how to add the new printer to a Windows 8 laptop. In the end, though, I did figure it out, but it took a good while.

Now my question is, how many of you have had frustrations over adding new technology to even newer technology? Comments welcome.

Nope. It forever wanting to send what I want to print to the notepad instead of the printer is annoying but I didn't find it difficult to add devices no.

What comes to my mind is if it's an older printer model, did check the manufacturer's site for updated drivers to work on Win 8?

According to the box, and also according to my friend, it not only works with Windows 7, but also Windows 8, as well, but the problem was figuring how to to modify the Windows 7 configuration to Windows 8, but I figured out that simply adding the printer to the laptop would suffice, and it appears to be fine, cause I never did figure out how to configure it on the laptop, and I have much to learn about Windows 8.

Ding, ding, we have a winner.

Most printer manufacturers get enough complaints about things like that and offer updated drivers. Sometimes you have to get creative in your search.

And, just like Ambrosia, sometimes getting the damned document to move on from the queue's buffer is the most frustrating part.

Oh, it was frustrating, all right.... until I hit CTL+P, and viola, there was the option to add it, and problem solved, for now, at least, but if anything else happens, I won't be doing much else to help that person, cause he got me riled, and I done told him that if he cannot keep an open mind, then I cannot help him.
