It doesn't matter what kind of travel; I'm just curious to know your favorite times to travel? For me, it's between 10 AM and 3 PM, but I have a meeting today, and won't be taking the bus home. Instead, I'll walk a mile to the Metra, and await a train for a simple 4-minute ride home.

Now, what's your favorite time frame for travel?

As for time frame, it wouldn't really matter. I would like to be able to avoid Chicago rush hour when I leave or get to Chicago. I try to plan my trips so that I can avoid Chicago rush hour. However, it's not always feasible.

As for time of the year, I try to figure whether there are not too much snow on the road. I can deal with hard rains. I try to be careful if there are a lot of snow.

I agree; that's why I'm leaving early today, to avoid getting caught up in those heading to an early lunch. The Metra is likely going be either the 2:48 or 3:25 PM train.

Have a fun trip. Enjoy!!!

The trip is only 4 minutes-- from Ravenswood to Rogers Park. It's easier because I can save time not waiting for the #80 and #22 buses. I'm probably gonna be taking the 11:05 AM, as well, for a similar reason.
