Well, I am less than an hour away from forever leaving my 20's, and I'm gonna use what time I have left to post this question to you.

What did you do when you turned 21? As for me, I wondered whathe future held, and now 9 yrs later, all of that has been answered. What did you do? And your thoughts?

I waited in a gas station so I could buy a bottle of alcohol... They didn't even card me... :pissed: Ruined my midnight happiness....

Still not there. But if I wanted to drink I could just cross the border. over there its legal to drink at 18.

Seriously? They're supposed to do that. It's the law. Just goes to show they care about making money and not much else.

Interesting. In Canada it's 18, but here in the US it's 21. That's quite interesting.

I sat at home and did nothing. Who seriously wants to venture out the day after Christmas?

Ouch. Just be glad you weren't born on the 25th, or on Thanksgiving, for that matter.

I went directly to the bar after my shift was over, I worked second shift at a screen printing shop so it was like 11:30. I wanted to know since it was my 21st birthday did I get my first drink free. Bartender said no, I had to be a regular. I thought that was stupid, if I just turned 21 how could I be a regular???

Yes, I know. I'm speaking of those that happened to be born on that day the year they were born.

Probably not, but Thanksgiving and birthdays together give parents stress, just as December birthdays and Christmas do.

oo its not the Canada one, its the mexico one. And my birthday is usually on first week of school so ill probably be in school

That makes more sense. Mexico I already knew, but I thought Canada was 21 or 25 (think it's 25?).

Yes Thanksgiving changes. I was supposed to be born November 27th, thank god I wasn't or every 7 years it would have been on Thanksgiving.

When I was born, the doctors told my Mom I was likely to be born on either Thanksgiving or Christmas, but I arrived 19 days before Christmas, thankfully.

In Canada, they celebrated Thanksgiving on either the second Monday of October or like last October 14 of this year. I was from Canada as a permanent resident and married to my native husband who was born in Ontario. Christmas is the same like USA. December 25th. 26 will be Boxing Day. Just to let you know. :)

Yeah, I knew about Boxing Day up there. I heard it's real popular?

What difference would it make? It's not like they'd remember.

Thanksgiving birthdays suck. I was resentful when my kids were growing up and I got stuck hosting Thanksgiving dinner on my birthday.
