Before you became an adult, what did you want to be?

Child: Jungle Girl.

Teen: Artist.

A Jungle Girl? Now that's interesting. Wonder what one does when they make a jungle their home?

I actually don't have a job, but I'm interested in finding one computer related, so I can help people fix their laptops, or if any deaf people needed help, I'd be willing to take the time and travel around the region here to help those in need. Thing is, I don't work for money-- I do it because I want to, and if people want to give me money, that's their decision-- I never ask.

Being a software engineer, I am quite adept with computers. If you want to get into computer repair, maybe we can start a business or something. You live in Chicago too, right?

A fighter pilot. After watching Top Gun when I was young, that did it!

But all is not lost, there is an opportunity to hitch a ride in Russia, my preferences being in either an Su-27 (crazy maneuvering) or the Mig-31 (pure speed!).

I wanted to be a best selling author as a child and then in my teens, I wanted to be an interior designer. I ended up being a teacher. To this day, I regret not pursuing my dream of being an interior designer so I have to learn to let it go.

Honey you ain't dead yet ;)

Ah, well. Being a teacher is a good thing, but being an interior designer wouldn't have been a bad thing, either, and there's never a too late time to learn new skills.

Yes I do. Rogers Park. Know where that is?

Yes, I know where it is. :D

Nooo, don't let go. Think of it as a hobby and pursue it :)

No, but no money to go back to school and my husband is going to college for his BA degree and it will be a loooooooooonnnnggg time before he gets that degree as he can only do one or two classes a semester. Also, I am still paying for my student loans to this day. If I win the lottery (if I ever play), I definitely would go back to school full time for that career. :)

Being a teacher these days hasn't been good due to all the political crap involved in it. Just a shame...

Hmm. Ah, well. Dream on, and maybe, just maybe, you'll get lucky. That happened to me a few times.

Maybe you and I meet someday to talk computers?

Me, talk computers? I have no concept of the IT field. I majored in computer programming back in the 90s...epic fail. lol. I was bored out of my mind.

I wanted to be an astronaut.... Honestly, I'd still love to be an astronaut... I know it can not happen... however, I love space and anything to do with it. That would be such a cool thing to do!

You ever seen a comet zoom by? Saw one a few years back, or maybe something else? Pretty sure it was a comet.

You're making me want to watch Rocketman. That may be before your time :hmm:
