What would you do? There's a lot to do and see here. Shedd, the Museum of Science and Industry, Field Museum, Adler, Brookfield Zoo, and of course, the iconic Wrigley Field.

What would you do if you suddenly decided to come here one day? Me? I live here, so I'm either on my bicycle, or the trains (no buses for me-- too crowded at rush hour), or just home relaxing and wondering what the next adventure will bring me.

I travel downtown quite often. In fact, I'm waiting for the Metra right now to head down there.

Generally speaking, I don't like to pay for parking if I don't have to. I try to not do that so much. There are plenty of free street parking that is relatively close to Wrigley Field. It will be easy to park and then ride over to Wrigley Field.

There is also a site where you can go to see which museum is free on which days. I forgot name of the site.

Don't know if you know this, but Steppenwolf Theatre offers great deal for people that utilizes ASL interpreters or CC for plays. I've been there. I can volunteer information for Steppenwolf Theatre if you would like.

You ever heard of ICODA up in Northbrook? I did a season with them. They were great about being careful with my damaged knee.

Yes, I watched Annie at Center on Deafness many years ago. I've not been to Center on Deafness for many years. I should explore and see what kind of plays are being offered there.

Thanks. I'll look into that when I'm back at the house. I'm NOT in the mood for a gun being pointed at me demanding my phone, so I'll be sticking this in my pocket momentarily.

This Metra horn I'm sitting under is gonna make me go deaf (I'm on the 2nd level of the last car).

Pizza! I would try their pizza I keep hearing about and go to their restaurants . I would like to see where all gangsters hung out.

Unbelievable. I was sitting on the Metra, and I looked up to see the names of the stops, and realized I was on THE WRONG TRAIN. I quickly jumped off, and boarded the correct one. #$@! sign messed up where I was supposed to go.

That is just one of the reasons I hate using public transportations.

Yeah, but I rarely make that kind of mistake. The train I was on was over/here, but my train was that/way.

I grew up in suburbs of Chicago. I love their pizzas and italian beef sandwiches!!

Hmm. Italian beef IS pretty good, especially on a Chicago famous pizza (meaning ground beef). As for the sandwiches, they're pretty good, too. I love the Great Steak and Potato Restaurant. There's two close to here, one of which is just where I came from.

My daughter's family just went there and took their kids to the Field Museum. They brought me back a Sue dinosaur for my birthday!

I am not in the health to go running about Chicago, but years ago when our kids were little and we passed through , we took them to Shedd Aquarium. That was fun.

And when I was little my parents took me on a train trip and going to the zoo in Chicago was one of the things we did.

Yes, it's worth it to visit here. That Sue dinosaur is a keepsake. I haven't been to Shedd or Brookfield Zoo in a long time. However, when next spring comes, I might go to Lincoln Park Zoo, next to the #151 Sheridan bus stop.
