Oh well, the white kid's family can sue their parents and/or school. I hope he already has a lawyer.

Sure, they can but if 3 teen's parents are low income or too poor so they won't get anything. The school is better chance but there is cap.

The schools already got sued numerous time by former students or their parents.

I don't care. IMO, they must pay if they lose whether it's $10,000 or $25,000. They have to get a second job, otherwise interest will be charged daily if it's not paid in full by deadline.

The court can't force them to pay if they can't afford, even can't force to get second job. If they have no money so they can file for bankruptcy - no win situation.

What interest does with civil lawsuit? That's not taxes.

If I was parent, I will rather to sue on school to get money for damage/injury.

Those situation with 13 years old boy is unfortunate and there are many kids got hurt in fighting or beat up at school building and school bus, including broken limb, broken nose, injuries in body/organ area, etc. When I was 13 years old, one angry student at PE punched my right side of body, that where kidney was in so I became collapsed and became ill. The school had took me to ER for examination and there were some injury in my body. It was one of worst experience I had.

I think school already expelled 3 teens out after bus beating incident.
