I am curious , ladies do you go all dolled up to the gym or just plain with workout clothes and ponytail?

I mostly, look presentable w/ out make-up. The make-up falls off fast and gets in my eyes where it begins to burn. It's comfortable for me to go natural on the face.

my workout clothes - shorts. tshirt. and flip flops.

Just work out clothes and a pony tail. I barely wear any make up as it is. If I go at night I don't take off any makeup, but at that point all that's left on my face is my mascara. But I wouldn't put any on just to go to the gym, that's crazy. I have seen women all clowned up there though.

Do be careful with the flip flops.

I know what you mean, there are ladies in my Zumba class that come dolled up. I think, it waste of make-up bec the sweat will remove it.

I have dolled up for special Zumba events.

NAH, just cutesy workout clothes and ponytail with no make up on my face. If i go outside for run or walk, I am such a procrastinator i have been meaning to buy a lighted baseball cap but i wear a regular yankee cao instead. lol

If i go all dolled up then i would be blind once the make up running down to my eyes.

it wouldn't make any difference anyway if I wore shoes.

If you are in the weight area, accidents happen. I am not sure if gyms have a rule on that for safety purposes.

Mainly I do Bikram Hot Yoga - so absolutely no makeup whatsoever and my hair's in a long braid (I have almost waist length hair).

For clothing - I wear typical Hot Yoga clothing: a sports bra and Onzie side string shorts

if the weight falls on my shoes... it would hurt just as bad as with flip flops.

it's a private gym. the only rules are not to open window cuz of A/C, wipe down equipments after use, and no dropping weights on floor.

No make up when working out or like the others, I will end up with my eyes burning from make up trifling down along with my sweat.

I tend to wear black spandex pants with a tight fitting tank top that's made for working out.

Not about race. It's good for work out.

you can go ahead and run 10 mph :)

I've done enough of 10+ mph for track races in my youth. but FYI - it's not really advisable to do 10+ mph for "workout" especially on treadmill because it can leads to injury. there's really no need to run that fast unless you're a seasoned runner.

That's my point about flip flops.

You the pro :)

I wear all black. Black shirt, shorts, black socks, shoes. Its a mental thing. Whatever helps me focus and get things done.
