Mass. woman sues FedEx over marijuana delivery

Well, what kind of area is Plymouth MA? I've been curious of ways to determine whether area is safe or not.

I do not think the Fed Ex gave the address. I have a feeling the dealers used her address as a pick up or cover up address. So the crooks already knew where the dope was going to be shipped and miss the delievery. So the knocked on the womans door to retrieve it.
 
You don't want to deal with Meth, these people on meth making more meth is more dangerous than you could image, chemical contaminated. If a lab is found, it has to be sealed off and had to be professionally cleaned with tons of safety gears used. The clean up effort for meth is equilvent removing asbestos, anthrax etc.

I remember it as being a nice place when I travelled through there and looked at Plymouth Rock. I think I am remembering a dumpy little ship that was a replica of the Mayflower. Plymouth Rock was not real impressive just a rock. It gives a glimmer of idea of the time. I bet those people kissed the ground when got off that little tub.
It is seems like one continuous city out there. People are very aware. I got to see in Boston that whole thing of where people absolutely do not look at each other but are somehow completely aware of the action. I checked citydata.com just now and they did not have the crimestats for the area on the Plymouth Ma. site. I dunno.

How does it work? Let's say I pick your address as a random address to drop off drugs. I don't know your name. I would think that Federal Express would refuse to deliver my package because name and address doesn't match.

Therefore, if I got the package and saw it wasn't my name on it. Therefore, I'll not open it. I'll just return it.
 
Drug dealers are worry. They could explain to their Drug Cartel about mistakely send wrong address to someone. Drug Cartel won't forgive them and then, execute them for owe money or make sure no witnesses as avoid DEA agents.

yesp very likely that it is, 'standard practice'...just that woman, probably should have just gave it, and be left alone.but still i dont like it.
Drugs esp cannabis should be legalised, why make it 'evil' because its a contraband.
 
Let's ask---what if she had given the box to the guy? The guy gets busted. Police will ask the guy--where did you get the box? It will go back to the woman. Woman will tell "I just took the box. It was not for me, but I took it anyway". The woman would have no legal ground here. Should have not accepted the box!!!
 
Were the police involved before the box arrived at her house? That would always be the question. The next is a bunch of conjecture but the point being it is all about the money or pot. A small pouch of holiday potpourri/poorly disguised pot, is not a big enough deal for a drug shipment and pickup by dealers. It is nothing. The money in this scam is in FedEx. The kids are props, the supposed dealers are props, the innocent woman oh I opened a strange box woman she is up to something.
 
Today dealers are not stupid, they are getting smarter and smarter and they are much organized than it was 30 years ago, thus making it harder for cops to bust them.

Wanted know why they are doing this? It is just as decoy to confuse cops and avoid getting busted. Most popular spots for drug trades are those homes that are foreclosed. Not many realize that because no body is supervised empty foreclosed homes. Banks have too many on their inventory and can't keep check on every homes.

That is why I am telling ya, outlaws are not as stupid as you might think.

Yeah, glad none of them are white stuff!

I support legalize cannabis and I don't see point why they were illegal in the first place where government can not provide supporting evidence that cannabis is worse than cigarettes and booze where they are perfectly legal.

I have seen more than one article where dope is sent to other peoples address. It is so easy for them to obtain peoples name and address. Internet!! They do it incase the drug is found out and prevent the dealer getting caught. So the person at the address a lot of the time have to prove it isn't theirs.

There is an idea factor with pot. It does not necessarily make a person stupid. Old Columbian yeah but fresh pot is brain food. You say what? You(the government) want me to do what? They cannot have that. It is not the pot they are regulating it is us and our minds.

Going to jail, to general society as punishment, time to think about their crime and improve their disciplines. But the truth, once inside the jail, it is school for idiot criminals who got caught so that they learn lesson and taught by other inmates the secrets how not to get caught again. Also sometimes recruiters being inside for "boss of outlaws", and train them while they are inside. Once outside, they are back in business. That is why system have failed.

Outlaws ain't stupid. And I hope government wakes up and figure out how to make it harder for outlaws to continue doing their black market business... legalize Cannabis is one of them. Once legalize them, Outlaws will have much limited opportunity cheat the system, also limits their extra funds over smuggling very dangerous narcotics like Meth, Crack, etc.

as you said - the outlaws aren't stupid.... even if the cannabis is legalized. they will simply monopolize the market or something else.

limited opportunity to cheat the system? I seriously doubt it. even people have plenty of opportunities to cheat the system - legally or illegally. ie - medicare. stock market. NGO.

oh wait... let me guess... government's fault, right? government government government.
