Just curious as to what people use to keep their HAs on during sports?

Can't decide which is the best option?

Altho I wear ear molds, I once had one of my HAs come off the ear mold tubing and drop on the floor. That was the only time my old HA had to be repaired, because of this, I really want some sort of retention.

I know you can't use Ear Gear, so I'll skip recommending that lol. I would recommend a headband. I used a winter headband around my ears when I went skiing a couple of winters ago. It worked perfectly, even the several times I wiped out haha! (My first time skiing!) I now have some not-winter headbands and use them around my ears for things like yoga and roller coasters. It would also prevent the tube from coming out of the mold (you might want to ask for tube locks on your next pair of molds).

I'm a competitive cheerleader so a headband isn't an option for me...maybe for NaidaUP tho ?

What were you doing when it fell out?

I've found my Naida UP can still work with some head gear on such as a skull cap or helmet.

Try this:

Why not just wear a helmet?

I was climbing when my HA fell out.

I did see the secue n stays but they do look really flimsy.

I won't be able to wear a head band, the same why I can't wear ear gear, anything over the mics, is a no no, it just feed backs.

Helmet is a good idea but I have a HUGE head and I've never been able to get a helmet to fit me, not even the American helmets! My brother is even worse then me, so am lucky, lol.

Huggins might work.

Just had a random thought.

With the secue n stays for the Naidas, the wire is very thin and bend very easily espeically if you get hit when doing sport.

I wonder if there is away of bending the wire so it fits your ear but then somehow making the wire stronger/thicker by adding something or something else? Anyone know if there is away of making wire stronger/thicker?

Anyone know?

Phonak's secure and stay is very similar to the retention used for the T-Comm for AB's Neptune processor. I use it on my T-Comm, and it stays on my ear very well. It's wire so you can shape it around your ear to make it more secure.

I had the secure n stay before and didn't really like it ..

The idea of the secue n stay is great but I found the wire to bend SO easily. Phonak actually state to change them every 9 months. I think if the wire was stronger like the snug fit, they would work really well.
