New Advances Bionic color sound processors

For any AB users can get the new device even though they had the old one? will it work?
 
For AB user can update a new program from old one. Like I did update my N5 from freedom.
 
yeah. they can upgrade to the new processor if their insurance will cover it, otherwise they can trade in a former processor for the new one and pay some money too. I might trade in my Harmony for the new one if I can, otherwise I'd have to wait a bit more than 4 years before I could upgrade and I'm not sure I want to wait that long.

I think you would like the new processor working with you Naida and even allowing you to get the ComPilot if you want :)

That is good idea to wait. I had freedom for 3 years. I lost my one black sound processor at swimming pool park last summer. I had a pink back up. I decided to buy a new Nucelus 5 with remote. My medicare covered for 80% and I have to pay some 20%. What color do you want to pick a new sound processor?
 
Red. I have a red hearing aid already, and red is my favorite color. I have a red laptop, red cover for my iphone, red Nintendo 3DS, etc.... heh. :)

It makes me smile that the HAs and CIs have all these fancy features, but everyone's "the most important thing is that it's colored!" I love it!!! :)

That is cool! I have a pink ipad cover, laptop cover sleeve, pink nintendo ds, pink case for my android, etc.... Now I have a black sound processor to match my hair. Soon I will order hot pink cover for N5. It cost about $14 dollars.

Is red one of the new colors? I can only see ruby which is very brown and pink which is the nearest to the color red.
 
Sweet!! This looks awesome. It's exactly what I've been waiting for, a CI that fits more like a hearing aid, uses hearing aid technology, AND has wireless built-in. Woohoo! I'm going to see when this is out in Canada, I hope I can get this instead for my upcoming surgery. Thanks for the link!

April is the projection. Yes, you should be able to get it. They have started giving vouchers for those who are scheduled for surgery to get the new processor when it is released. No point in being stuck with a Harmony!
 
I heard back from my AB rep today was told I'll be able to get it! They'll give me a Neptune in the meantime then do the free swap / upgrade when it's avail :dance:

Great! You'll love it! It's much lighter than the Harmony and feels nice on the ear. The microphones are improved as well! I'll be making it happen for myself even if I have to finance it.
