I do that...I tether my tablet to my smartphone. Works great!

There is no tethering plan for data/text only plan under Verizon, so only few way to get one - add expensive voice plan or switch to mobile share (expensive).

I'm not paying for voice that I don't use.

Perhaps you should shop around or try negotiating. But my advice was directed at you anyway, it was directed at the OP.

I had negotiated really hard with Verizon representatives at store and the customer services via call, so they said Verizon use computerized verification (test) to approve the plan. If they add regular data with tethering only so it will fail the test because they required voice plan to be included, so they, even managers have no power to override, so they told me to complain to executives.

I picked Verizon because of best signal/bandwidth quality since at&t is clogged with bandwidth issue, especially in here, t-mobile and Sprint didn't serve so well in my area.

I just reserved the tethering for long trip, so just add voice plan for while then dropped it after got home from trip.

I have a NOOK HD+ tablet. I read any digital comic book, digital magazines but, no full googles store app.. Grr, I'll think of buy iPad mini later.

In my opinion, Thanos is probably the most evil character ever created in Marvel universe.

I was quite surprised that he showed up in the end of Avengers movie (after the credit scroll)... I believe that he will show up in Avengers 2!
