We have nothing....absolutely nothing. Please do not waste your time coming here. It's pretty much just rocks, rattlesnakes and religion. You will all hate it. Please keep out. Our spring and fall temperatures range from 120-160 degrees. The summer temps melt the dang thermometer. You don't want any part of this. Our women have no teeth and the men have big bellies. Both carry shotguns and shoot people just for pronouncing words correctly. It is soooo dangerous. Seriously, just trying to be helpful.

Austin - a TOTAL entertainment city, please don't tell me you crashed at "Library" on 6th Street. Lake Travis is great place to keep yourself cool.

San Antonio- beautiful river walk, famous Alamo place, and watch famous San Antonio Spurs basketball team home game.

Galveston/Corpus Christi- unlike Miami, but have nice beach and swim warm waters.

Houston/Dallas/Amarillo- don't even bother to visit there.

Craziness! The whole state is horrible.

(Yes, I have been to every bar on 6th street I think.....dozens of times. :) )

Well, I've been to Austin, was on a tournament that time didn't do much there. Touched Alamo in San Antonio. I touched South Padre Island, nice beach there. That's about it, not much interesting to see in Texas.

Wirelessly posted

I also heard that everything is huge in Texas! :o People think the bugs are big in FL, should check out the size of them in Texas.

I lived for many years in El Paso. I loved it there, but I guess it's much different from the rest of Texas...

And used to visit my in laws every year in San Antonio. I liked the green river for Saint Patrick's day.

There are ton place to do in Texas.

West TX: There is sand dunes to surf or rent vehicles to ride around. Fun! There is lot of mountains to climb, hiking, camping. Enjoy the natural hot springs in Big Bend and see pretty water falls in there. You can enjoy experience the world's first organic shrimp grew in west TX that service in one of finest restaurants, only at Big Bend area.

North TX: Lubbock/Amarillo where it is... You can fishing the only place that have trouts to catch and clean and cook to eat. You also eat their finest steakhouse in Amarillo. They're amazing and fresh.

South TX: Strong Hispanic culture to enjoy the experience food, art, people, etc such as found in McAllen and San Antonio. If you're luck to eat Nolan Ryan's steakhouse somewhere between San Antonio and McAllen. Hear, it's grass-eaten. Of course, there is South Padre Island to experience beautiful beach and great place to surf, only best in Texas coast. Great seafood, too!

Central TX: Most entertainment, not only in Austin, there are German and wine to enjoy the experience. Plus outdoor, too!

East TX: Fort Worth is strong cowboy culture to experience such as Stockyard area. Enjoy powerful sport teams in Dallas/Arlington area, so many to watch if you can afford. Lot of good local restaurants in there, same as Austin. Houston is one of higher International experience of everything.

BTW do you know? Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio are four of 10 top fastest grow and best to live for lifestyle. >SOURCE<

Shhhhhhh

Most fun I've had was changing my oil at an abandoned gas station in Easton. Walked into the store, picked up an oil pan and a 5 quart jug of valvoline. After sweating from that process, I just really wanted a cold drink.

Oh yeah, also hung around Dallas, but I can't say I was sold on the city. I do want to visit the Spurs and Rockets arena sometime though.

Easton, the birthplace of the Boogie Woogie and the home of the annual Turnip Green Festival.

:cool2:

Grand Prairie has the annual "Pickled Quail Egg Eating Contest"

"All my exes lives in Texas" (country song)

HAHA...Knew a guy From Texas....a real big bloke...but he could really do the "Two Step"...(and taught me)...was a lot of fun....We went out dancing a lot...especially to the Diamond Boot....

That quote..."Don't Mess With Texas"....seemed so appropriate of him, as he had the biggest hands and feet I've ever seen!

Ignore his suggestion. NYS is not that great state if you believe in personal freedom. There is much more freedom down there in Texas as long as you don't fuck somebody else down there.

Seriously, I am from NY and somewhat regret moving into NYS from PA but moving to NY has some benefits for me so it is mixed for me. My wife begging me move to West which is really possible in future. My wife even wants to move to Texas, my only three issues which is I HATE heat, especially summer heat, pests and finally I am getting too old to move again urgh!

move to NYS then

Quiet! We're trying to keep people out!

LOL! However, I would welcome a particular person to Texas if that person decides to move here. Just be sure to learn how we do things around here and get you some guns if you don't have any. However, I'm hearing about ammo shortages in our state...
