Exactly!!! Actually this goes for the person who mentioned short hair too. I have long hair, it takes me 30 minutes to get ready for work, that includes a shower and makeup, which is pretty minimal, 40 minutes if I'm going to shave lol. I don't do anything with my hair other than brush it, maybe put some morrocan oil in it, but that takes 2 seconds. You actually have to put more work in to do short hair, generally anyway. If I'm feeling frisky on fridays, I don't have to be in til 10 usually it's 9, I might straighten it, which means i have to blow dry it, which takes damn near forever so that tacks on another 40 minutes, just to do my hair. Do that everyday??? no way Especially since it's just going to end up in a pony tail most of the anyway lol.

I remember a fight with the soon to be ex husband, and he told me "you're letting yourself go, you never "do" anything with yourself anymore". There's reasons why he the soo to be ex husband. :cool2: Not because of that per se, he was just mean.

yes it is good that both guys and girls put some effort in being presentable but it's not healthy to put in that much work with because of fear in the back of the head that nobody will like you if you don't put on, say... lipstick or some make-up.

I know a couple of friends who wake up early because it takes them at least 2 hours to get "ready". they do this everyday. they get absolutely horrified at the thought of not putting on some make-up after waking up to greet friends.

I agree, some girls like to get dolled up to feel good. My intent of the thread wasn't to make this an everyday habit lol of course not silly.

I mean , if you or any guy see's a cute girl walking down the street in a cute outfit, hair sweeping away and you happen to catch your eye.

Nothing wrong for girls to get dolled up to feel good. Recently, my friend end up in the hospital over stress . What she do? She got dolled up and went out to feel good. She needed that and she's a pretty gal.
 
It never ceases to amaze me how many persons one lady can become! By use of clothes and make up and hairdo... First off when she fixes herself up its for her. It makes her feel good, helps with confidence. And if she went to the trouble just for me, wow how special.
I love it! Each lady have their own taste. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd pick 5 in it being important in general and 10 on special occasions and 1 for days in p.j sleeping in sitting by a fire watching movies.
Yeah I know we guys have it easy! Just a simple shower and comb hair and good to go lol.
 
What's this hair sweeping? Are you talking about a part in your hair?? Like a side part versus a middle one??? I'll admit I'm puzzled about the hair sweep. Not being snarky here just wondering.....

I used to spend a long time every morning just to straighten my hair because I hated my curls but as I got older, I lost the motivation to work that hard to impress my coworkers. So, I just let my hair grow and be curly and now, the curls are gorgeous because I stopped beating up my hair. I wish I had known it would get that pretty a long time ago. Could have saved me a lot of time!
 
it depends. before marriage - oh yeah .. anything to create a boner will get my attention. after marriage just tells me you care about your self and nothing is better then having a wonderful wife for life. I'd care less about impressing my buddies with a hot wife .. I want one that does care about her self.- but I hate the type that looks high maintenance .
 
It is best for us guys to stay on the good side of women, really. Women are the source of so much for me. Love. There is nothing like being loved unconditionally by a woman. I love to see my fiancee wearing pretty colors. She is not much into makeup and really I am happy about that she looks just wonderful without it. She has her own style of this and that with clothing and I enjoy checking out what is going on. Mostly though it is the colors and cool looking simple jewelry. I am sensitive to perfumes and chemicals so it is nice not to have to find a way to protest.
I am glad for her vision problem where to her somehow I look good.. smiles.. she rocks
 
nah id like to get a R34 GTR, and cut the top, make that a convertable, 2.6 in line 6, twin turbo , those older R34 were beasts, god knows what they chucked the straight six for a harder to make and harder to tune v6's yuck...

Bet those GTRs are lighter than 300zx. Sure a woman will love to go faster!!! The faster the car is, the faster it's to dry hair, eh?

i been in a Ferrari F355, the was a convertable (top was down too at the time when i was in it for a ride), man that car FLEW!!!, and probably even better handling, brakes, sound, and style than a GTR and no its a darn fine 3.5 V8 with flat crank, its magical...now THat would straighten and/or dry hair in no time...a turbo charged Ferrari is rare, they do have a GTO 308 turbo version it was called GTO 288 3.0 V8 twin turbo- charger, its rare and its very fast, it came out before F40's...similar style..but more with 308GTBs (think Magnum PI tv series)
