I used to be able to download videos from youtube using Realplayer. I am using a laptop, before it worked like a charm. Now, I noticed the realplayer symbol is no longer there in youtube? Does anyone know why or how can I download videos on youtube? Help!

Realplayer still exist? (j/k)

Is your Realplayer software up to date? There's must be a reason the link not showing on YouTube.

Yes, it still does  Is there newer software to download on youtube? Yes, I even downloaded the updates and nothing shows up. If there's a newer software let me know:ty:

Okay, I just installed Realplayer and played with it.

I didn't see any realplayer popup in YouTube, then I went on and research via Google. They seems to point to browser or RealPlayer Preference setting.

Browser issue wasn't the issue on my side (using IE 9). So, I looked in RealPlayer preference and messing with setting and I got it fixed.

Open your RealPlayer and then click on Preference. I checked the "Only on mouse-over" and it worked.

I hope it helps. :)

I doubt it. Your laptop is hardware. The issue you have is related to software. So, tell me what kind of browser are you using?

I have seen somebody using different way to get it work on Chrome as for an example: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6CutkM_1hI]Google Chrome + RealPlayer Fix (Original Video) - YouTube[/ame]

If your RealPlayer is not working. Try use Windows Media player or QuickTime player?
