Police said they arrested an Oklahoma City man Monday after a neighbor say him beat a 15-year-old boy in the back yard of his home.

Javier Aguirre Bustos Jr., 38, was arrested on charges of child abuse and violation of the domestic abuse act. Officers say they responded to a home in the 1700 block of Northwest 8th Street around 4:30 p.m. Monday after receiving a 911 call.

A witness told police that a teen was laying on the ground while Bustos was "kicking, stomping, and punching him." According to officers, the witness said the teen was hit with a belt on his body and face and when the boy tried to stand, Bustos punched him in the face.

Paramedics said the teen was knocked unconscious by the beating.

When police arrived Bustos told them the boy was in a gang fight. Officers said the teen was having trouble walking, his hearing aid was missing, he was scratched all over and he had the beginnings of a black eye.

The boy was transported to Presbyterian Hospital. There, doctors found fluid in the boy's pelvic area. After he was treated, the boy was released to another family member.

I have not hear his son's side of story yet, but beating is definitely not acceptable.

What the hell was he talking about? His reason to beat his son up was that the son was involved in a gang fight before he came home?

I think what happen was the cops ask Bustos what happen to his son and he told them his son was hurt in a gang fight. According to the witness, that is a lie.
Therefore, Bustos was arrested.

What the father did to his deaf son rubs me the wrong way...I sho' would like to visit the guy..he doesnt look so tough in his mugshot. :mad2:
