I bought a kobo a few months ago through my points I had at work and OMG I LOVEEEEEEE it! <3 I read on it everyday and I do love books and turning pages but this makes life so much easier especially when reading a series and you wanna start the next but don't have it with you! Couldn't be happier with my $0 I spent on it!

Wirelessly posted

I have a Nook Simple Touch but I think all ereaders are amazong :) also great for when your reading something you dont want others knowing about lol.

I have the Kobo too. I got it a couple of years ago because it was one of the few that you could download books from the library to. That's where I get most of my books. I did just buy a book yesterday so that I'd have one to read when I travel soon to see my newborn grandson...when he gets here. This way I won't have to worry about the book expiring while I'm away.

I read my at lunch time (I use a folding plate holder to hold it up for me while I eat) and then read it while I take my walk around the office complex.

I have a Nook Color and my husband has a Kindle. I like them both. I especially like the fact that now every book can be a large print book, and I don't miss out on anything.

Yes, I like that too, that I can enlarge the print - which I do when I'm walking so I don't have to wear my sunglasses over my reading glasses.

Has anyone gone from reading kobo books on their phones and then getting an actually kobo reader?

I'm now into music and my iPhone doesn't like my music and books on there as well and as I will read more then listen to music, I thought I would buy myself a kobo.

Are they any good, compared to what the app can do? :)

Reading on the kobo is loads better than reading on the iPhone. I read sometimes on my iPad but the e-print is easier than the brightness of the iPhone/iPad

I've had the Kobo 1 or 2 years now and love it. I down load library books mostly. In fact I'm getting ready to search for a "new" book to borrow.
