It's peoples right, not mine. You know they can make mistakes and its their conquences, not me. if the PP is going well then everyone is happy rather than miserable parents that would makes things worse for innocent babies.

I don't have problem with women who want their newborn aborted because of birth defect that revealed during ultrasound and I know about one woman in my class had her newborn aborted because ultrasound revealed that her newborn has Down Syndrome. I feel bad for her to lose the newborn and she wants healthily baby.

Too much birth defect and disabilities could burden on government's welfare programs, that's not good but some disabilities cannot be found in newborn, especially deaf, blind and autism.

You mean some Chinese couples, right?

There are no laws in China that allow for killing of females nor does the government endorse any kind of infanticide thru law. It would be erroneous to say that they do. You might get into a serious argument with some asians if they overheard you saying that.

They do have the One Child laws. It ends up being mostly boys are kept, with girls being aborted. No law giving permission to kill post-natal.

Not all Chinese people are subjecting to one child law.

You are misinterpreting my post and that what I'm not talking about it.

Well you said you support PP because they give out free pills. They also kill babies. So....

It's due to a cultural caste-like mindset, same thing happens in India, other places like the middle east whatever but those countries are not subjected to one child laws. They want men for their ability to earn money, do work, "prosperize the family" so on.

Gender discrimination has been long going in those countries, women did not have as much power and society did not see them needing to do so until the past few decades. Likely influenced by western feminist or women's suffrage type principles.

It is getting better these days, as women are becoming profsesionals and aren't getting seen as second-rate humans. But this depends by family - cultural values take a long time to change.

Newborns have been born & therefore cannot be aborted.
So, if a baby is born with a defect, it's ok to murder it?

I don't have problem with abortion and it is up to women.

My sister is in different situation, it is unrelated to abortion. She has to take birth control pills to treat medical condition in her vagina. She doesn't have job and no insurance coverage so she got for free from PP. PP offers services for women who need them, not exclusive to abortion.

The birth control pills don't kill babies.

I means fetus, it was happened during first or second trimester so it is legal for her to abort it.

The abortion is legal, no matters if you think it is murder.

Never said pills kill babies.

why didn't they do that? there have some reason not to set up a sterilazation program. Is this sterilazation program permanently for them who can't have baby again, then it is not a good idea. What if one of those days they can change their minds and want to have baby of thier owns some day.

Because abortion makes money. Like I said, it's a money making industry that sanctions legalized killing...no, make that murder.

This sterilization program would be voluntary. In return they get a fair sum of money. I never said permanent sterilization. If in the future they want to have a baby then they can save up their money for an operation to reverse the procedure. If they can afford that then they most likely can afford to have a child. A real simple concept. Saves the govt boat loads of money compared to money spent on welfare programs into the hundred of billions of dollars for child and family support. It reduces all kinds of problems down the road. The only draw back is that if they want to have kids then they'll have to have the money to reverse the procedure.

A pregnant woman says "I am pregnant" or " I am having a baby". The latter also means "I am going to have a baby". Now let's discuss the word "baby".

Before he/she's born, it's not a baby. It's called a fetus or embryo. In other words, after birth, he/she becomes a baby or newborn. So when a person says "I have a baby", it means that he/she is already born.

IMO, it doesn't sound right when people say "Don't kill babies" while they mean fetuses.

So the fetus magically transforms itself into a baby once it's out if the womb?
I am a grandmom. I have seen pics of my grandson. He is still nesting I his mothers womb and is growing every day. I can't wait to meet my grandson, just like I couldn't wait to meet his mother 22 years ago. She was my BABY from the time she was conceived. My grandson was my grandson from the time he was conceived.

Yes, that was my point with the graph; that in rural China, the men are more useful as workers in the fields due to their physical strength. Women can make money in the professional jobs, but I would bet there is wage discrimination based on sex, as well.

There is a heartbeat....proof there is a heart. Which of course is more than can be said for anyone who would choose to stop that innocent heart from beating

We don't make you to have abortion.

It is your decision with your baby.

So if a woman find out her unborn child is going to be born deaf you are ok to get rids of this unborn child?

So of a woman finds out her unborn child is going to be born bipolar you are ok to get rid of this unborn child?

I doubt any test could reveal if fetus will be deaf or bipolar.

Most bipolar started during adolescence and young adults, however the bipolar in early childhood is extremely rare.

If they can test for any condition at all, then yes they can test for deafness and bipolar. If you are saying that is not true, then you have to say they can't 100% be sure an unborn child had Down. Play fair here Foxrac.

First, don't be ignorant.

Sorry, that's not fair game.

I'm talking about USA, not China.

There are no tests that can reveal about deafness and bipolar.

The deafness can be started after several months old or few years, even 1 years old can be deaf after pure hearing from born. There are no reliable test for deafness.

Like I said, the bipolar NEVER to be reveal in fetus, the bipolar usually start during adolescence and young adults, however early childhood is rare, just all are post-born.

The Down Syndrome can be revealed in ultrasound and the women make their decision to abort if they want.
