Yup, that's what I thought too.

I went to emergency room in DC after had painful left-sided after intensive activity program at Gallaudet University and the woman forgot to register my name and insurance but... turned out it was $5,000 for diagnosis and treatment. I just filled out the insurance info on it so they paid 60% due to out of network coverage. That's only left me with $1,800 in medical debt.

And how did you arrive at this cost?

politicizing.... tsk tsk tsk....

he didn't pass this himself. Congress did. why? the people. and now it's the law. :)

The people were against it. One party voted for it. But yes it is law....for now. That doesn't mean it will work.

And of course it is politicizing..... It's a political issue. The OP changed his mind.

and be drowned in debt for years?

I don't see why we should push for a more affordable medical cost.... like what he said -

Yup, there are many Americans filed for bankruptcy due to huge medical debt and they are unable to pay off anytime soon.

That's not good move about bankruptcy and the hospitals lost the money because of that.

The treatment, management and counseling for IBS is more costlier than I thought and I ended up to spent a lot of money. My primary doctor suspected that I may have fibromyalgia after experienced uncomfortable pain around my body, just other than GI related everyday but not fully diagnosed yet. It will not pretty to have like that and I usually take painkiller medicines at most time.

I disagree.

yes because nobody listened to his respectful wish.

you omitted the first sentence and missed the third sentence.

Oh my, this thread turned into adult playground with all debate. :ugh:

Now, you are free to debate about political, healthcare, etc whatever you want.

My rule isn't work anymore.

Have fun.

I disagree

The vote is public info. *shrug*

yes because nobody listened to his respectful wish.

Yep it's sad. I tried to tell ya. I changed the subject in post 11 and 12 but then you came along to stir things up. Sad because he thinks so highly of you and you do that.

Nope, just the first. And like I said....I respected his wish starting in post 11. I tried to get you to do the same.

ouch. last year, I went to ER for mysterious pain in my abdominal. very painful. only paid $100. the actual medical expense was over $5,000. turned out that I had a rare case.

Ouch, I went to ER few times for severe IBS/stomach flu, especially worst cramping with burning diarrhea so I just cried too loud until my roommate found about what is wrong so he ran to get RA to call ambulance to take to ER. I just banged wall and furniture over again because the pain is killing me. They found that I have stomach flu that make IBS extremely severe so I had to take antispasmodic drugs and ate special nutrient diet until stomach flu disappears as my IBS went back to mild-moderate.

That was terrible experience and it was happened in dorm at Gallaudet University.

oh sure sure. please do keep up your mis-disinformation campaign

As I said.... none of my posts at the beginning wasn't political but naturally.... you disagree. I've shown that you went obama this, obama that and I only addressed specifically about cost of medical care and affordable care under PPACA.

And how did you arrive at this cost?

It was completely unexpectedly because I thought it will be reasonable but... not true.

ER treatment is expensive as always.

.....I only addressed specifically about cost of medical care and affordable care under PPACA.

Which is political. Those costs... Both $$$ and otherwise are heavily disputed.

So what do you think the fair price for life saving snake bite treatment is then?

oic.... it must be very lonely to be unable to engage in intellectual discussion without being honest to yourself.
