What is/was your breakfast today?

1 slice 12 grain toast with peanut butter and orange marmalade.

Did post 31 again.... But only one cinnamon roll this time. :)

I PIGGED out! Two plates of scambled eggs about 12 strips of bacon, 3 piping hot cinnamon rolls and several glasses of OJ. Just needed to have a big breakfast day.

Good Lord!...So happy you don't live here with my 3 boys, I just couldn't afford it!.....Food Stamps anyone?

it's snowing good now. Ah, that's my cue. I guess I'll go ahead and make a hearty breakfast with German pancakes, bacon, sausage, fruits for toppings, and OJ.

Are German pancakes potato pancakes?

No. It's eggs, flour and milk mix poured on to a cookie sheet pan. I sprinkle cinnamon powder on top.

For every 3 eggs you add 1/2 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of milk.

So, 9 eggs, 1 1/2 cup of milk and flour, all mix together. Whisk it. Do not add to blender because baking at 420 degrees it will cause it not to "rise." Bake it about 15 to 20 minutes ( forgot exactly how long but I just now put it in the oven and punched 20 minutes on the timer).

It's a quick and easy, as well as delicious, quick breakfast for a family of 4 (two adults and two kids, or 3 adults) for the 9 eggs amount.

:)

Ok, I meant to ask if the cookie sheet you used has sides? Ours don't....

Around 11" by 17" cookie sheet with the sides to hold the batter. Pour the batter onto sheet and sprinkle a good amount of sugar cinnamon on top of the batter. Oven at 420 degrees for 20 minutes. During the baking process it will have these large "bubbles"...that's normal. once you take it out the bubbles will "deflate," of course. Enjoy your favorite toppings.
