As you can see, the recent "exodus" hasn't made much of a dent, in fact no dent at all, in the reach and traffic rankings. Although what's rather curious is that AD saw its largest jump in traffic rank of over the last two years seen this month of March. I wonder what caused the big jump in traffic early in March?

:hmm:

Well, it certainly made a dent in the Liberal voices.

The internet is a fickle thing, and traffic patterns can change quickly. Actually, my guess is that there are a lot of clandestine visits from the members that left, to check up on things here. To me, this is one stop of many in a day of surfing. And with fantasy baseball around the corner, less stops here, and more stops at Rotoworld.

I agree.

Wouldn't be surprised if some continued to make clandestine visits but why even bother if they think they have the greatest thing since sliced bread?

AD is a wonderful forum! And you bet, I'm addicted....and my thanks to SWK for steering me over this way. It's been ever so peaceful since some members went to the dark side....Hoooray!

Yes, it is amazingly much more enjoyable to be around and the debates are much more reasonable to deal with and the atmosphere is it bit more, well, sane.

I just wanted to let you know that I do like sliced bread :)

Have you noticed that they have their own thread on "tipping" as well?

Still trying to figure out what happened here that made them create another site....

Well, I go there occasionally but not clandestinely. :D

I have to say I think the whole "them" and "us" thing is silly. Granted people may have some axes to grind or have long-term issues with certain members (and yes, that goes both ways) but, really? Adult members of two forums keeping tabs on each other by doing what basically comes down to 'spying' on each other? I just don't get it. Like Tousi (and others), I visit both forums. Why? Because I enjoy not only the majority of members of both but also because I enjoy the varying viewpoints of both. If I had an issue with one forum or another, I would not lurk around looking for ways to insult or cut them down - that is no better than what politicians do during campaigns and we all know how productive that is.

As for repeat posts on both forums ... again, really? If a topic on forum A interested me and I wanted to hear various feedback on it, I would not hesitate to take the topic to forum B to acquire more response. To me that is no different than discussing something at work and then bringing that topic to my friends later to see what they had to say. I hardly think either my co-workers or my friends would raise their eyebrows and think of it as "topic thievery".

Just my 2 cents ...
