Wow! That's pretty quick to discover these. That planet is lot bigger than our planet, though.

So who wants to go??? :D

The line starts here.........

But larger planets usually have stronger gravity don't they?
We might need to build our muscles a bit before going.

About 100million of these planets are out there. We've only searched at a tablespoon in the ocean of water so far.

I'd say 100 million at the very least, just in our own galaxy (the Milky Way), which is one of billions of a collection of galaxies that make up the entire universe. We cannot even imagine how tiny and insignificant our existence is in the cosmos. The mathematical probability that there are millions, perhaps even billions of planets out there with living organisms, even advanced civilizations, is very very good.

I like what Ellie Arroway said in Contact when she is getting the first human experience of star travel and seeing a celestial event for the first time: "They should have sent a poet."

I've written some poetry! pick me! pick me!

Depends on the density. Size does not figure into gravity. Only mass.

ok, so if the planet is less dense or equal I should be ok when they decide to move humans there?

Yep :)

Also, the planet would have to be pretty friggin massive for the gravity to be bone-crunching dangerous.
