The dude is trippin balls. Nothing is going to change in 2012. NOTHING.

Wouldn't mind watching Newt mop up the floor with Obama.

Interesting analysis. I agree with him about Romney; the "ticket balancing" trick that led McCain to pick Palin, an incredibly ill-informed move, should be more of a warning and a watchword than a template for the VP choice.

Also agree that it's the independents who decide elections. That's always been true; the "true believers" on each side aren't going to vote for anyone other than their party's candidate, no matter what. So it's the independent voters, the ones who truly vote the candidate, not the party, that make the difference in each election.

Obama's low approval ratings among independents better be worrying to him. That, and the youth vote being decidedly more turned off and way less enthusiastic about him this time around, are big danger signs.

I don't think there is gonna be any change in 2012....

In 2016...my hope is that Rubio will decide to run.

I smell fear.

This is a deja vu of the last election. The Repubs are running scared.:laugh2:

Charlie the Tuna says he can't wait to swim with the Repubs in 2012.

:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2::laugh2: GOP is going to win big in 2012? Are you SERIOUS? A snow ball in hell has a better chance of staying frozen! :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

The "last election?" Would that mean the mid-term elections of 2010, when Republicans gained better than 60 House seats, 6 Senate seats, and 7 governorships?

The Fix - Election 2010: Republicans net 60 House seats, 6 Senate seats and 7 governorships

Or the most recent elections, where Virginia, for the first time in decades, went Republican for governor, Senate and House? And where other results were decidedly mixed, including a vote in Ohio "that would "bar any legislation requiring Ohioans to buy health insurance" — a direct shot at the federal health care overhaul."

2011 Election Results: Mixed Messages : The Two-Way : NPR

Both parties are running scared now. Anyone who is not scared, for whichever party they claim allegiance to, is lacking a complete perspective. Neither party is going to be a slam dunk here, unless the Repubs completely lose their minds and have the likes of a Sarah Palin clone nominated for VP. (I'm assuming Romney will take the Presidental nomination.)

Between here and November, 2012, there will be plenty of bumps in the road for all parties concerned.

I was referring to the climate on AD. Everyone who was around at that time understood what I was referring to.

I'm predict that Cain lost in primary GOP election.

You may have forgotten the mid term elections when Dems were collectively handed their ass.

Midterm election and presidential election are not same at all.

No one was running scared then either. Most conservatives here were saying Republicans would make major gains, I was saying major gains could stall 2012 hopes, and you were saying polls don't have predictive value.

I guess you missed all the "Obama will never get elected" threads.:laugh2:
