ViaSat-1 will launch October 19th, spreading high-speed satellite service across North America. This service will be launched next year for customers. Rural deaf customers who don't have landline internet service, can get VP on new high-speed satellite network but monthly plan may be expensive than cableTV network and DSL. I m thinking about costs may be over $80. not sure. I don't know that VP can work to be viewed clear in 22,000 miles or more far from SAT???

Satellite connections are high-latency. High-latency is bad for video calls.

The delay on video can lag by seconds, which really does impact interactive conversations.

You probably want to try it out first before committing to it.
 
no!!! don't buy it, very careful

you don't know "Bandwidth caps" it is usage cap, usage meter like electric bills, gas bills..

it is NOT LIMIT!!

Comcast is 200gb/250gb
cox commcation is 30/50/200/250/400
TWC 40 but $150 for unlimit

Mobile some very low 5GB or less

I don't know about satellite
it is expensive, if $80, maybe only 1GB or 2GB or 5GB, if over 5GB maybe more $50 or $20 per 1GB,

I wish "UNLIMIT"

That's one main problem for VP users. Don't use satellite connections for any internet usage. I do have a Directv for TV only.
