:wiggle: So, I met this guy the other day, like two days ago. Last night we stayed up Until 7AM. I know that's crazy, but neither one of us wanted to go. He knows I'm H.o.H, and is ok with it. He said he understands and accepts it! This is really awesome because he accepts it!, and we got to really connect because he didn't treat me like everyone else (I.E. my family, some friends, and complete strangers) have been treating me since how it is for me. Unlike my ex, he doesn't see anything wrong with me. My ex asked me to get the Cochlear implant...it was a little insulting...okay insulting a lot because he used the words "can fix you" Oh how that made me sooo upset:mad: , and cry that he couldn't just accept me for me, instead of "fix me". Anyway this isn't about him. This is about this new guy. Oh he's so sweet, and cute, and kind, and so incredibly amazing and just wow. Lol. We both couldn't stop smiling, no matter how hard we tried. I promised myself I wouldn't be dating while in school again because it just got too difficult for me. But Oh my gosh!, I feel like it's going to lead into that. I feel so bubbly, and happy.:giggle:
 
i'm glad you're not with your ex anymore.. i hate how some (ok, A LOT) hearing people think that deafness is like having a disease. don't ever let a person try to change you. no offense to the hearies out there, but this is why i am afraid to date hearing guys.

anyways i'm happy for you :D i believe that if a person fully accepts you for who you are, stick with them. he seems like a nice kid, take it from here and see where it goes!

I'm glad I am not with my ex anymore either. And, :ty: I am happy. Really happy.And, I completely Agree. I don't see how people act the way they do about it. We're still human beings. It's not like we came from another planet and are going to inhabit the earth or something. But, yea I am going to try to take things slow with this guy...and if it so happens we end up dating then it happens, and if not that's ok with me too. He's still an awesome person, and even if we don't end up dating I'd still love having him as a friend. :)
