Hi everyone, I am currently in an aural rehab class and our assignment is to talk to someone with a hearing loss and have them answer questions. It has to be a person who has used some type of amplification device, hearing aid, cochlear implant, or assistive listening device. It will be completely confidential. If anyone is willing to help me out, it shouldn't be difficult. I would just email you some questions. I would really, really appreciate anyone willing to help me out with this. Thank you.

why can't you find someone where you live... better interview that way...

OP you search find professional teacher manager personal confidentl research lots of hearing aid or CI!

I'm sorry. It's just something I have to do for my class. I don't know anyone in my area that has a hearing loss. I will keep looking though.

Then post the questions here. Somebody will surely answer you, but not many people want to email a stranger.

What about going to your local Deaf/hh agency and ask them for any Deaf events or socials? I wouldnt start asking these questions right away but instead, get to know them and then go from there.

There is a rich culture and language (ASL) in the community. You probably would learn a LOT more than just the EAR by interacting with them.
