Ouija Board

You know, people aren't supposed to use it while they are even a little scared. You have to do it when you are absolutely calm in order to avert any trouble.

The best way to avert any trouble is to not use it.
I wasn't using it. It was a group of people in another room. It was very quiet in there. Then, I heard the screams, and saw them flee from the room and building. It was chilling.

The one who was most frightened was my roommate. She told me later what happened.

what did they ask and what was the answer?

I have yet to see any authentic video footage on YouTube, probably something to do with the fact that people often make them up. You should go to the house that I used to live at. A lot of spooky moments I experienced in that place. I know it's still going on because a family friend stopped by there a while ago and asked if there were anything strange happening in that house.

The person immediately told her to leave and that he didn't want his wife to hear her because he finally convinced her that nothing was going on in the house. I know I'm not the only one, my whole family and a good number of friends witnessed quite a few things in that house.

The place had a lot of electromagnetic energy, and not to mention that there's a mass grave in a buried canal where the house is. Here's the thing, when you move, they don't always stay behind. Sometimes at least one of them will tag along with me. I know that one of them did come to school with me quite often. I know this sounds crazy coming from me, but I'm taking my chances.

Oh, I have no doubt that there are things that we simply cannot explain that certainly point to the spirit world. I have had a couple of experiences of my own. So, no, it doesn't sound crazy to me at all.

But the toy that is mass marketed is just that, a toy. To think one can take a plastic pointer and a piece of cardboard out of a box, and thus manipulate the spirit world is just silly, IMO.

BTW, there is a book about a community of Spiritualists in upper NY state. I will look the title up when I finish getting my books out of storage next week. There are some amazing stories in there. They have an open community to anyone who is interested every year. I have often thought about going, but have yet to be able to work it into my schedule.

I've had the ad both at the top and at the bottom.

You know, I live in St. Catharines which is a part of the Niagara region. It's right next to the NY state. Niagara is very well-known for its paranormal activities and spiritual events. There's a lot of history here. Please let me know what the name of the book is, maybe I'm familiar with it.

I'll put a sticky note on my desktop right now. Chances are you have heard of this community. I found the book fascinating. It was written by a journalist that had heard about the community and was very skeptical. She lived there for about a year doing research, and came away much more open minded.

You must really be susceptible!:P

Well - it has to be all the reading material I have here at home. I'm even playing a game on my DSiXL called Witches & Vampires of Ashburry.

We didn't get into that part. I asked her what happened. She said they were "playing" with the board, and at a certain point, a figure appeared in the room with them. She wouldn't give me details. It was too frightening for her. To be honest, I didn't want to know more.

She and our friends never touched it again. We never went back to that friend-of-a-friend's house.

Ouija boards are not a joke. They can and do work.

Problem is you are opening up the door for strangers to come in. Once it's opened you can't really close it.

It can be very dangerous.

Definitely. One of my dad's girlfriend use to "work" with those boards .... it wasn't pretty. I have some really horrible memories associated with them.
