My name is Joseph, call me J....I have a hearing loss after 1.5kHz..I went to another forum and posted a Warning about hearing users and they deleted my post because it was true....The post said Wearing your hearing aids is like having a loud speaker in your ear, it just amplify what you hear. That's why you see people losing their hearing fast. Have you ever noticed that when you take off your hearing aid, you hear worse than what you normally hear without an aid..Tht's why you see old people become deafer than they are...Even though i have a hearing loss, a slope hearing loss as in a rollercoaster that's going doing until 1.5kHz so that means i can hear voices but not consonants so i gotta hear how their intonation sounds in order to match with the words that sound alike. I read alot but it's still a huge problem. I listen to Classical music..Baroque music and it helps me alot to hear better, a lil better so you should try it..all u gotta do is pop in the cd and let it play the whole day

I have to say I agree with Bott... it is nonsense... and I can read just fine thank you very much.

Baroque music and it helps me alot to hear better, a lil better so you should try it..all u gotta do is pop in the cd and let it play the whole day

and that... total :bsflag: when adjusted properly... HA's don't make you more deaf... Take that from someone who has worn them the majority of my life... yes I am going to be completely deaf soon, but that isn't because of the HA's...

lmao...Yeah buddy, coming from a guy who used to wear hearing aids all my elementary school life and stopped after...they tell you it improves your hearing cuz its more money for them when you buy it....I understand under some circumstances you would wanna wear ur hearing aids but trust me, only wear it for special occasions....And for those who thinks im wrong that it declines your hearing....Listen to a sound, any sound, and take off your hearing aids...put it back on for 10 mins and take it off and you will see how it affected your hearing.

No, it does not approve the hearing with the hearing aids unless you have mild to moderate hearing loss. Maybe it might help but I doubt it.
