While cruising around with my girlfriend in my 2010 M5 the other day, I stopped at the red light right before getting on the highway. I looked to my right and I see this business-type dude behind the wheel of what looked like a modern Porsche 911 Turbo S, and it was beautiful. I was telling my girlfriend how that car looks nice and how my brokeass couldn't afford to get one. LOL

Anyway, right before the green light I noticed the dude glancing at my car from the corner of my eye, and when the green light came on he stepped on it and his Porsche just...FLEW and was gone in a matter of seconds! Hot damn, that car is sick! Now I know what my next car's gonna be. Oh wait, it's a two-seater and I have a child coming to this world soon. :fingersx:

This is what I meant when I said the Porsche just "flew." Hehe

Yep always loved them. Just could never afford one. I had to settle for an original Mini Cooper for my first sports car. Wish I still had it

Alex, be glad that you have BMW M5. I got a clunky old Honda Civic with a tiny vtec motor. That porshe will smoke my ass in no time lol.

LOL I once drove a Honda Civic Si back in early 2000 and it was very nice. Thanks, I'm very glad I got my M5. She's a beast!

had a ride in a Ferrari F355, that flew too, i once test drove a Porsche 944 Turbo it suxed, my old Skyline Turbo killed it...both were doors, and yes 911's have always been the best, fastest road going Porsches, esp the Turbos, even the old school from mid 1980's will shock you, but right up till about early 2000's they got the act to get and red-designed frm scratch to shift the weight balance to more even thus elimiinatng the badass fishtailing tendency around corners...(front end toooo light)

great car, i think for used sports cars 911 turbos is better than Ferrari 308/328/348/355/360 because they are milder and thus lasts longer and slightly easier to drive...

but Id still be stupid enough to get a Ferrari because i liked it rawness without the turbos...dont be fooled im not saying their turbos suxed (as did on the 944s) the 911 HITS HARD! like a two stroke motorcycle hitting the powerband..
but i thknk they also made it smoother with twin turbos (or two turbos - im not sure which i have hardly ever read about those 911s for quite long now back then i was oogling the 930's. the 2 turbos isnt 'twin' but more 1 kick in early to avoid the 'turbo lag' then wastegate shut off more to let in the 2nd big one hit in and so more HP's is churned

yeah you would have had a lot more fun if you were IN that Porsche...its really wicked..
i know i was in the 355 and we FLEW RIGHT in the middle of the CITY LMAO

cheers

Nice color you got there! I seen a lot of BMWs when I lived over in Washington state. BMWs around here are a rare sight, lol. :) I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX, it's one trim level below the Si.

By the way, Porsche is nice but too small for our family and it's never going to be affordable for us in our life unless we win a lottery. I have walked thru the Porsche storage parking lot when picking up the Enterprise rental cars. Some of the Porsches look pretty expensive, yikes!

Alex, how about Porsche Panamera (4seat) ? I remmby I saw a pic that posted by Sequoias last couple of years ago.

Yeah that weird looking one. There's also the Porsche suv called Cayenne. I remember when I saw one accelerate very fast in Seattle. Its a sports defined SUV great for rich families in mind lol.

Oh, yea. I was reading about the new 4-door Tesla the other day. Not bad. Is the Pagani Zonda even street legal?

Panamera Turbo is indeed FAST, but I'm not a fan of the egg-shaped body design. :dunno:

LOL I actually tried to do that a while back but I didn't have a nice car then. Seems like salespeople look at what kind of car you're driving when you pull up to the dealer, that way they get an idea if you're a serious potential buyer or just a window shoppa.
