Blockbuster's trademark may be no longer in use by July 14th.

The two Blockbuster locations here in St. Catharines dodged the bullet this time, but I imagine they won't last long. The two places are often dead and I never rent movies from them anyway. In fact, I haven't rented a movie in years and paid for it.

When Blockbuster adopted Netflix style - I switched over to Blockbuster because I actually saved tons of money that way. I was able to watch much more movies than I can with Netflix since Blockbuster was just a few blocks away from me.

Under Blockbuster's membership program - I can either mail in DVDs and wait for new one or exchange mail-in DVDs at store to rent any DVDs in person.

Too bad that Blockbuster store closed up. oh well.

Not allowed here in USA. ;)

I just had to google that one and apparently it's true. Frankly, I don't think any postal services should be allowed to have a legal monopoly on first class and standard mail delivery, just saying.

I prefer that because I usually return the DVD the next day.

Same here. Rent two movies, usually, sometimes three movies enough to make it a good night of watching movies. I certainly don't watch a movie twice. Once is enough and back they go to Redbox the next day.
