While working for the organization Meals on Wheels that delivers lunches to elder shit-ins, I would often take my 3-year-old grandson with me.
He is unfailingly intrigued by the various appliances of old age, the canes, walkers and wheelchairs (especially the electric ones).
One day I found him starting at a pair of false teeth soaking in a glass. Knowing there would be a ton of questions I waited for the first one.
He only said to himself: "The tooth fairy ain't gonna have enough money!"

Wirelessly posted (sent from a smartphone. )

:laugh2: Is that true?

What in the world would you call them "Shit-ins"? My grandma receives Meals on Wheels due to not being able to drive any longer so she doesn't get to the store frequently enough. I think if your willing to degrade them you should really stop volunteering.

1,000,000 sorrys, my bad! It was suppose to be SHUT-INS. I'll pay more attention and thanks for bringing this to my attention. Peace out.

My wife receives them also. Specialty prepared meals that is too expensive even for me to buy from the grocery stores. They're high protein meals that is important for her since she's a dialysis patient.

When her blood goes through the filtering system, she loses important minerals at the process (protein being one of them). So it's important that the protein be replenished back into her system as soon she comes home from the renal center.

Meals on Wheels is a great help to meet her dietary needs.

Good joke!....never mind the typo!....

or should I respond....."Your threads are racist! I will never read them again!"...HAHA!

A joke is a joke...and not, absolutely not...meaning to offend...most of us do have a sense of humor....(I think!)
