Hi, my names Becka and I'm 24, from Adelaide Australia. I'm hearing and I'm learning Auslan. I don't know if there are many Australian people here, but I would love to talk to anyone and learn about deaf culture. :wave:
 
There are quite a few Australians here, give it time and they'll be by to say hi..

I am also an Aussie but am currently in Thailand with my husband and kids. Our family home is in Newcastle. Welcome to AD! Browse around and read the numerous threads here. You will learn a lot.

That is because I don't know anything about Australia. Australia seem to be a wonderful country except very interest in the Outback where the Aboriginal people live. Just saying. **peace**

Thanks everyone, Lol, thanks for the idea but can't move to Canberra. I'm learning here in Adelaide at Deafcando. I'm only a beginner but I'm planning on going to tafe next year.
