Bowling lanes may be a hot amenity in new high-end buildings around town, but ever thought of adding one to your apartment?

A Tribeca loft owner has done just that, putting a private lane on the lower level of a massive 4,032-square-foot triplex at 49 Warren Street.

The apartment is for rent through Warburg for $14,000/month, not including shoes.

According to PropertyShark, the loft is owned by a Nicolena Omansky, and here's where things get even more interesting: The apartment might also be in use as a bed and breakfast? One that doesn't mention its best amenity at all?

Sounds odd, but so does an apartment with a bowling lane.

What are you looking for in a $14,000 per month apartment? Is this idea a strike or a gutter ball?
 
Gutterball.

It is cheaper to have a regular apartment and just pay $20-25 to go bowling every once in a while.
 
Rip off. You can get a 4,000 sq ft house for lot less and go bowling once in a while.
 
I go to SportsWorld Bowling and Arcade which is about an hour from here. I used to go about once a month. I've not been there in about 6 or 7.
 
Cool, and also the University of Minnesota have a bowling alley. they're at Coffman Union Memorial in Minneapolis campus and St Paul Student Center in St Paul campus, that I go there usually take a school transit bus (Bus line 121).
