As far as I know, woman aren't banned from wearing a burqa in NY.

Funny, it wasn't happen at Wells Fargo that where I go in so often, however at my old bank, mask, hat, sunglasses must be removed before go in.

Many malls do that now too. In fact just an hour ago I saw security make a man take down the hood on his hoodie in the mall that my Hooters is in

I don't think it is manner to wear hoodie inside of place and some place has dress code that hoodie or hats must be removed before go in restaurants but extremely rare in here.
 
Some locals have law about sagging, usually happen in predominantly black cities in southern states and I don't agree with it, however showing underwear to public is ugly as hell and they must cover it.

I still don't see any similarity at all. What happened to Jews back then was labeling. In this case, there's no labeling of any such kind.

You don't think those anti-Muslim hearings in the Senate are dangerous? You don't think the French policies towards Muslims (and others, but anyway) are dangerous?

Just out of sheer curiousity, has anyone ever experienced a Muslim threatening to behead you if you did not convert to Islam?

what anti-Muslim hearings? in case you didn't read, this thread occurred in France, not America. and no I don't think their policy is dangerous.

beside - they are free to move back to wherever they're comfortable with. it's free country... but they don't get to make their own rule and they don't get to say - hey it's what I do back in my home country and so should you! :dunno:

No, but one of my Muslim friend's grandmother once baked me some homemade cookies and was seriously concerned that I couldn't eat them because her kitchen wasn't kosher! Now that's cute.

My Jewish friends' moms would behead me if I didn't eat their cooking. :o
